Uluave has played in 12 games all off the bench since his arrival at Cal, playing in four contests each of his three seasons but has no stats other than participation. Uluave was a four-star recruit in the 2015 recruiting class who ranked among the nation’s top players offensive guards (No. 14) and overall players by Scout (No. 277). He was a four-year prep starter who played for teams that combined for a 38-7 overall record, while winning one state title, reaching the state finals in all four seasons and winning the Interscholastic League of Honolulu title each campaign. He was selected first-team All-State as a 2014 senior for a squad that registered an 8-1 overall record, won an ILH crown with a 6-0 conference mark and reached the state championship title game. His 2013 junior team won the state title and finished 11-0 overall. Uluave was selected All-ILH in each of his final three seasons as well as second-team All-State a junior.

• Helped Jared Goff break a pair of Pac-12 single-season records in his final campaign when he passed for 4,719 yards and 43 touchdowns while becoming the first Cal quarterback to earn first-team All-Pac-12 honors since Aaron Rodgers in 2004
• Helped Cal become the only team in the nation to have six receivers with 40 or more catches and the first college football team in recorded history to have six players with 40 or more receptions and three 500-yard rushers in the same season
