As a Sophomore (2026): At the Stanford Quad Meet, earned the all-around title with a score of 77.800, sticking his dismounts on rings and high bar, and also broke Cal's modern floor record with a score of 14.200 that also tied for second place... posted an all-around score of 77.400 at Oklahoma, including scores of 13.600 on floor, 13.250 on vault and 13.250 with a stuck dismount on rings... named the CGA Gymnast of the Week on March 4... posted an all-around score of 78.050 at the Stanford International Collegiate, which included scores of 13.700 (floor), 13.900 (parallel bars) and 13.350 (high bar) with a stuck dismount on the third event... won his age group all-around, rings, parallel bars and high bar titles at Elite Canada, also finishing second on floor... posted scores of 13.200 on rings, 13.400 on parallel bars and 13.450 on high bar at the Stanford Open... broke Cal's modern program record on high bar with a score of 13.550 in Cal's season opener against Stanford, leading the Bears to the overall event title.
As a Freshman (2025): Helped Team Canada to a silver medal at the FISU World University Games... won the Canadian Senior Next Gen parallel bars title and took third on floor and rings in his age group at the Canadian Championships... named to the Canadian Senior Next Gen National Team… All-MPSF (Floor)… ranked 23rd in the nation on floor... posted a personal-best rings score of 13.300 (and a floor score of 13.233) at the NCAA Championships final… qualified for the NCAA Final on floor (13.566) and rings (13.066) in his first NCAA Championships Qualifier… named All-MPSF on floor after posting a score of 13.600 at the MPSF Championships… earned five Senior Next Gen medals with four titles at Elite Canada, including the All-Around title… named MPSF Freshman of the Week after recording a winning 13.800 on floor at Air Force, also posting scores of 13.000 on parallel bars and a 12.800 on rings... CGA First-Team Academic All-American... ACC Academic Honor Roll... winner of the team's Hardest Worker Award.
PREVIOUS: Competed for Gymnastics Mississauga… appeared with the Canadian Junior National Team at the Junior World Championships and DTB Pokal in 2023… took Gold with Team Ontario at the 2023 Canada Winter Games… that year, he was named the High Bar and Parallel Bars Elite Canada champion as well as the All-Around Elite Canada bronze medalist… won the national title on parallel bars in 2022… graduated with distinction from Oakville Trafalgar High School, where he earned the Duke of Edinburg Bronze Level and the Leadership Award.
PERSONAL: Intends to major in bioengineering at Cal with dreams of attending med school and becoming a surgeon… son of Davide and Jackie Bardana, both former collegiate gymnasts… father, Davide, was also on the Canadian National Team.
