Biography
As a Graduate (2024):
- Rowed in the 3V8+ that defeated UCSD and Santa Clara at the Las Vegas Invitational.
- Rowed in the 4V8+ that won the Men’s Collegiate 2V8+ Final and placed second in the Men's Open 8+ Anderson Borthwick Memorial Trophy Final at the San Diego Crew Classic.
As a Sophomore at Cornell (2020):
- Rowed on the second varsity eight that placed eighth out of 30 boats in Flight 1 at the Princeton Chase with a time of 13:35.915.
- Competed on the Cornell B 4+ boat in Flight 1 at the Cornell Autumn Classic, clocking a time of 13:06.52.
- Rowed on the Cornell C 8+ boat in Flight 2 at the Cornell Autumn Classic, recording a time of 12:14.86.
- Spring 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19.
As a Freshman at Cornell (2019):
- Rowed on the fourth varsity eight for all but one race in his freshman year, in which he rowed on the third varsity eight.
- Helped the fourth varsity eight advance to the Grand Finals of the EARC Sprints, placing fifth overall.
- Helped the third varsity eight triumph over Princeton with a time of 5:57.20.
Prior to Cornell:
Rowed for Taylor Allderdice High School...Competed at Scholastic Nationals three times...fourth place finish in the open single at the 2018 Scholastic Nationals...sixth place finish in the open single at the 2018 Youth Nationals.
Personal:
Bradley Ely Horvitz is the son of Morris and Adriane Horvitz and he has one brother...completed the Everest Challenge during the Covid lockdown.
