- Won an NCAA title in the 400 free relay, splitting 41.74 on the third leg of Cal's 2:46.60 victory at the NCAA Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
- Also placed second in 200 back (1:35.99), third in 100 back (44.49), third in 200 IM (1:40.01) & second in 400 medley relay (3:00.73) at NCAAs
- His 1:35.99 runner-up finish in the 200 back was the third-fastest ever in the event
- Captured four Pac-12 titles in the 100 back (45.30), 200 back (1:38.13), 400 free relay (2:48.66) & 800 free relay (6:11.98) as Cal won its fourth consecutive conference team title
- Became the first swimmer to sweep the backstroke events at the Pac-12 Championships since Ryan Murphy in 2017
- Etched his name onto Cal's all-time best list in four individual events & three relays, including a school record in the 400 medley relay (3:00.73)
