July 27 – 4x100m freestyle relay heats (4th, 47.50 split - advanced)
- Former member of Cal's postgraduate training group
- Two-time Olympian; swam for the United States at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics
- Clinched spot on 2024 U.S. Olympic roster by placing second in the 100m back (52.72) & fourth in the 100m free (47.78) at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Indianapolis
- Olympic gold medalist in the 400m medley relay at the Tokyo Olympics
- Leadoff leg of 53.51 in prelims to held the U.S. reach the 400m medley relay final; U.S. later won gold
- Also finished ninth in the 100m back at the Tokyo Olympics
- 15-time World Aquatics Championship medalist (7 gold, 3 silver, 5 bronze)
- Captured seven medals at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships, including gold in the 100m back, 400m medley relay & 400m mixed medley relay
- Previous world-record holder in the 50m back; shattered the record with a 23.71 at the 2022 Phillips 66 U.S. International Team Trials
- Swam two collegiate seasons at Ohio State (2020-22) before turning pro; started his collegiate career at West Virginia
- Three-time U.S. National Team member
