As a Senior (2016):

Capped her Cal career with an incredible final season, earning NFCA All-America honors as well as a spot on the All-Pac-12 first team thanks to an 18-8 record, 2.05 ERA and 189 strikeouts in 167.0 innings pitched...finished the regular season as the Pac-12 leader in ERA at 1.91 and was the only conference pitcher with a sub-2.00 mark in the regular season...Named National Player of the Week by espnW after an incredible week against UC Davis and Stanford in which she went 4-0, struck out 48 (setting a career-high three different times) and helped the Bears go 5-0 by pitching in all five games...Best game of the week came on April 30 at Stanford when she spun a 1-hit, 16-strikeout gem in a 1-0 victory...That 16-strikeout performance ranked eighth nationally for strikeouts in a single game...Struck out 10 or more in a game seven times, including opening day against Wisconsin (10)...Pitched in all four of Cal's games at the NCAA Regional in Tuscaloosa, Ala., earning a pair of wins against Texas State that included a two-hit, seven-strikeout shutout in the Bears' tournament opener...Became just the second pitcher (Jolene Henderson) under head coach Diane Ninemire to beat Kentucky when she tossed a five-hitter to beat the No. 18-ranked Wildcats on Feb. 19...189 strikeouts is the most by a Cal pitcher in a season since Jolene Henderson's 267 in 2013.

As a Junior (2015):

Went 5-1 in 10 appearances and seven starts with a 2.97 ERA through 37.2 innings pitched…Only allowed one earned run during her 8.1 innings of the Arizona State Kajikawa Tournament…Struck out a season-high six batters in her win against Eastern Kentucky… Earned a shutout for Cal’s 13-0 run-rule win over UC Davis after allowing only four hits and one walk

As a Sophomore (2014):

Received Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention laurels…16 starts in 26 appearances in the circle…Five complete game performances…Led the team with a 4.23 ERA and 9-9 record overall…Logged 96.0 innings of work, allowing 58 earned runs and 133 hits while striking out 52 and allowing opponents a .318 batting average…Tossed a career-high eight strikeouts vs. Loyola Chicago (3/2)

As a Freshman (2013):

Appeared in 23 games with 14 starts...Pitched 3.0 innings against hosting Michigan at the Ann Arbor Regional (5/18), allowing two hits and one run while striking out four...Won games vs. Santa Clara (4/17), Indiana (3/2), Maryland (2/23) and Cal State Northridge (2/9)...Earned her first career start and subsequent victory against Cal State Northridge (2/9) in opening weekend, leading Cal to a 7-2 win

High School:

Earned the Medium Schools State Player of the Year award and joined teammate Vanessa Alvarez on the All-State First Team...As a senior she had a 0.40 ERA in 170 innings of work (24-3) while striking out 256...Though her Ridgeview High team narrowly lost defending its CIF Central Section Division III title in 2012, Ontiveros put up a .500 batting average, bolstered by 15 homers and 55 RBI...A six-semester member of the academic honor roll...Named the Sequoia Yosemite League Rookie of the Year as a freshman...In 2010 was placed on the All-Sequoia Yosemite League first team and the Bakersfield Californian first-team all-area...Led her prep squad to the 2011 CIF Central Valley DIII Championship and a No. 1 ranking in the state...As a junior, named to the second team of the Max Preps All-American list, ESPN Rise' All-State and MaxPreps Sports All-State lists

My uncle's number (Steve Ontiveros) was No. 16 when he played for the Giants and the Cubs.

Pre-game Ritual & Game Superstition:

I have to get dressed the exact same way, and I listen to "Remember the Name" by Fort Minor before turning off my music. During the game, I never step on the chalk lines.
