Football: In 2008, ran for 715 yards and four touchdowns and had 27 receptions for 221 yards and one TD...at Valencia High School, was a SuperPrep Magazine and PrepStar.com All-America choice...Scout.com listed him as the No. 23 running back in the country...rated No. 5 at running back in the nation and No. 21 overall in the state by Rivals.com.

High School (track): Doubled as one of the Southland's top sprinters, recording the fastest 100-yard dash time of any junior in Southern California during the 2006 track and field season.
