High School/Club:
• All-Pacific Coast League selection as a senior
• Helped Corona del Mar reach the CIF Division I finals as a junior and semifinals as a senior
Personal:
• Parents are John and Kit Curci
• Comes from a strong Golden Bear family as father John, grandmother Nancy Mangan, aunt Sienna and uncle Mike all attended Cal. John was a member of the crew team
• Aunt Sienna Curci was an All-Region setter at Cal from 1989-1993 and is third on the Bears' all-time list with 4,008 assists
• Uncle Anthony won an NCAA championship for UCLA and spent time on the AVP Tour
• As a freshman in high school, overcame a six-month bout with Bell's Palsy, a disorder resulting in facial paralysis
• Spent the summer of 2012 working at a camp for autistic children
• Participated in the long jump or Corona del Mar's track team
