Eszter Varró enters her second season of competition at Cal.

2025
• Scored 21 goals as a true freshman
• Scored in 10 games with six multiple-goal outings
• Set career high with five goals vs. UC Davis on Feb. 15
• Scored four goals at the MPSF Tournament, including two vs. USC in the third-place game
• Had a hat trick vs. Hawai’i in the NCAA quarterfinal
• Named to NCAA All-Tournament Team
• MPSF Newcomer of the Week (Feb. 18)
• Earned ACWPC All-Academic honors
• Joined Cal in spring 2025

NATIONAL TEAMS
• A member of the Hungarian National Team
• Won silver with Hungary at 2025 World Championships
• Won gold at 2023 U20 World Championships
• Gold medals at 2023 U17 European Championship, 2022 U16 World Championship and 2021 U15 European Championship

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
• A 2024 graduate of Városmajori Gimnázium in Budapest
• Also competed in karate, swimming and gymnastics
• Played club for OSC (2018-22) and UVSE (2022-25)
• Won 2023 Euro Cup and 2024 Hungarian Cup and league championship

PERSONAL
• Parents are Sara Fabian and Janos Varró
• Has two siblings: Hanna and Janos
• Hopes to become an Olympian after graduation
• Enjoys playing the piano, baking and cooking in her free time
• Lists Hungarian Olympian Rebecca Parkes as her biggest sports hero
• Has always wanted to ski in Finland or Switzerland
• Majoring in economics, would like to go to law school
