Kate Meyer enters her third season of competition at Cal.

2025
• Scored six goals as a sophomore
• Had one goal in the MPSF quarterfinal
• Earned ACPWC All-Academic and MPSF Scholar-Athlete honors
• Also earned a place on the ACC Academic Honor Roll

2024
• Scored five goals and made five assists in 25 appearances as a true freshman
• Added six steals and three blocks
• Set career high with two goals vs. UC Davis on Feb. 25
• Earned ACWPC All-Academic honors

HIGH SCHOOL
• Played for coach Chuckie Roth at San Marcos High School
• Played club for Santa Barbara 805 for coaches Connor Leavoff and Cathy Neushul
• Earned two NISCA All-America selections 
• Won 16U Junior Olympics championship in 2021
• Academic and athletic All American
• Also competed as a swimmer
• Has overcome two broken thumbs during her playing career

PERSONAL
• Parents are Linda and Mike Meyer
• Both parents were athletes at UC Santa Barbara
• Sister, Hannah, played water polo at USC
• Hobbies include cooking, fishing, writing, free diving and training
• Majoring in integrative biology
