2011 Q&A with Jessica Kreck
Career: Ended her Cal career with 51 games played, six goals, one assist (13 points).
2011:Played in 15 games, getting one start, on Senior Day against Stanford...took one shot, in Cal's Spet. 28 game at Saint Joseph's.
2010: Started two of the 10 games she played after enduring an injury-shortened season ... named to NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
2009: Third on the team in goals with five...boasted a game-winning goal against Kent State, in which she scored both goals in Cal's 2-0 win...15 of her 19 shots were on goal...started all 19 games...picked to NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
2008: Played seven games...scoring one goal vs. Davidson (10/11)...named to NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
High School: Competed in the 2007 USA Field Hockey's Futures Championship on the same team as Cal teammates Kristen Goodman, Haleh Nourani, Megan Shimojima and Erin Magill...won a Junior Olympics bronze medal in 2006...member of Futures Elite program in 2007-08...Mitty teammate of fellow Cal freshman Claire Dougherty...her Mitty team was the Central Coast Section co-champion in 2005 and 2006 with Kristen Goodman's Saint Francis team.
Personal: Born on Nov. 9, 1990, in Mountain View, Calif....parents are Andrew and Karen Kreck...siblings are Lea (12), Matthew (10) and James (9)...Art (Practice) major.
