GENERAL: First-team AJGA Rolex All-American ... one of the top junior players in the country who has played at the highest levels of junior golf heading into his Cal career ... expected to be one of the incoming players that has a shot at breaking into the top lineup on a consistent basis early in his career ... all of the components of his game are there without any major weaknesses ... hits it long ... a good putter ... part of how successful he is early in his career at Cal will depend upon how quickly he can make the transition to college.
2012-13 (AS A FRESHMAN): Named the team's Freshman of the Year and also picked up a team first-year `Big C' Award ... has played in five of the team's first seven events in the spring after having not played in the fall, compiling a 73.19 stroke average over 16 rounds ... top finish came when he tied for seventh at Western Intercollegiate (71-72-67 - 210, E), capping off his performance with a three-under par 67 that is the lowest of his collegiate career in the final round ... tied for 32nd at Pac-12 Championship (74-73-75-73 - 295, +15) ... tied for 33rd at John A. Burns Intercollegiate (78-74-75 - 227, +11) ... tied for 35th at Fresno State Lexus Classic (72-73-74 - 219, +3) ... tied for 46th at ASU Thunderbird Invitational (72-76-72 - 220, +7) ... ranked No. 17 nationally according to Golfweek for those players without enough rounds to qualify for the regular rankings.

2012 - AJGA Rolex first-team All-American ... member of the victorious East team at Wyndham Cup with a 2-2 individual match record ... won TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior at Innisbrook (72-71-71 - 214) ... seventh at AJGA-HP Boys Championship (73-73-71 - 217).
2011 - AJGA Rolex second-team All-American ... reached as high as ninth in AJGA Polo Junior Golf rankings ... member of the victorious East team at Wyndham Cup as he was undefeated in his matches with a 2-0-2 record ... won two major junior events at Scott Robertson Memorial (73-66-68 - 207) and Golfweek Invitational (68-67 - 135), earning Golfweek Player of the Week honors after his performance in the latter ... fourth at Sea Pines Junior Heritage (69-75 - 144) ... eighth at AJGA Puerto Rico Open (69-75-77 - 221) ... played as an amateur and Monday qualifier in the Nationwide Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open and missed the cut by a single stroke after shooting a 69.
