The Preseason Pac-12 Coaches Poll also was released Tuesday and the Bears were picked to finish in fourth place in the conference standings. Three-time defending NCAA champion was chosen to win the Pac-12 championship.
The Bears will make their first appearance at Edwards Stadium on Saturday when they host Saint Mary's in an exhibition game at 5 p.m. Cal opens the regular season at home against Detroit Mercy on Aug. 24.
