Cal Falls To Pilots, Shuts Out Tigers
Cal split its previous two games, falling to No. 17 Portland, 2-0, on Oct. 10 in Berkeley and then beating Pacific, 2-0, on Oct. 14 in Stockton.

In the second match, Guzman played a give and go with Giancarlo Mota and then fired the ball past Pacific goalkeeper Joshua Moya to give Cal a 1-0 lead in the 39th minute. In the 49th minute, after a bad clearance of a Cal corner kick by the Tigers left the ball at Nonso Adimabua's feet, the Cal forward played a short pass to Onuoma in front of goal, and the defender slotted the ball inside the far post to make the score 2-0.

Last Tuesday, Cal lost to a talented Pilots' squad that scored both its goals in the first 20 minutes of the game.
