Summer 2018: Won gold in the U.S. coxed four at the Under-23 World Rowing Championships in Poznan, Poland

As a Junior (2018): Won silver as the 3-seat in Cal’s second varsity eight at the 2018 NCAA Championships, contributing to Cal’s overall team NCAA title… Helped the Bears’ second varsity eight to a silver medal at the 2018 Pac-12 Championships… Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention…Raced in both the varsity four and second varsity eight during the regular season

Sophomore 2017: All-Academic Pac-12 Honorable Mention...Raced in eight regular season regattas and earned eight victories... Rowed with the 1st Varsity 4+ at the Pac-12 Championship... Raced in the 1st Varsity 4+ boat at the NCAA Championships where the Bears came in second to the Washington Huskies.

Summer 2016: Worked three jobs and visited Los Angeles… Also spent time at home

Personal: Parents John and Roberta… Her siblings are Chris, Matt, Alisha, and Haley... In her spare time, Samantha enjoys Drawing, Art and Design... Postgraduate plans to change the world

High School: Honor roll member for all four years… Graduated in top 5% of class…Prior to attending UC Berkeley, Samantha rowed at North Bay Rowing Club under Coach Will Whalen... In 2014, she was voted Most Inspirational Oarswoman at her club and in 2015 was voted most dedicated oarswoman... In 2014, Samantha competed with the US Junior National Team at the CanAmMex Regatta in Nova Scotia... Also a member of the school Soccer, Volleyball, and Softball teams
