• Twice named to the All-State team and Napa County Player of the Year
• Four-time all-MEL player
• Helped her Napa High School team to two MEL championships
• Played two years of basketball

Personal:

• Parents are Rick and Minda Robben
• Sister, Ricci Robben, played softball at Wisconsin
• Would like to attend dental school after Cal
• Undeclared major but considering American studies or media studies
• Chose Cal because it has great athletics, but at the same time she will get an amazing education

Bad to the Bone: The summer before college, Alex Robben broke her hand after a line drive came back at her, and she still managed to start practice on time.

When I Grow Up: As a child, Alex Robben dreamed of becoming a grocery bagger. Now that she's slightly older, the Napa, Calif., native hopes to attend dental school.

Why I Have My Number: My favorite number is 22, but it was already taken when I got here. The number 22 has been in my family all my life and I have had it ever since I started playing. I thought 4 would be a good number with which to start my college career.
