AS A JUNIOR (2019):
- Began the season at shortstop but moved to left field after suffering a finger injury and eventually settled in center field.
- Earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 honors and ignited Cal's offense from the leadoff spot.
- Appeared in 50 games (49 starts) and hit .365 with eight doubles, three triples, eight homers, 36 RBI and 20 stolen bases.
- Led the Bears in hits (73), runs (51) and triples (3), and finished second in batting and on-base percentage (.435).
- His 20 stolen bases ranked third in the Pac-12.
- Drafted in the sixth round by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2019 MLB Draft.
- Went 5-for-6 with three runs in May 23 win at Washington.
- Had a 4-RBI game May 11 vs. Stanford and registered two 4-hit games.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018):
- Appeared in 44 games with 42 starts, all at shortstop, as a sophomore.
- Hit .247 with seven doubles, 20 runs scored and 21 RBIs.
- Had seven games with multiple hits and five games with multiple RBIs.
- Season-long eight-game hit streak came from March 10 to March 24.
- Hit safely in all three games against eventual CWS champion Oregon State.
- Had a season-high three RBIs against Oregon on March 24.
- Was one of Cal's offensive standouts during a late-season trip to Creighton with five hits in 12 at-bats at TD Ameritrade Park.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017):
- Enjoyed a breakout season in his first collegiate campaign as he assumed the starting shortstop role for the Bears and appeared in 54 games with 51 starts.
- Named a freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
- Hit .315 with 56 hits in 178 at-bats. Also had eight doubles, one triple, six home runs, 33 runs scored, 24 RBI and six stolen bases. Slugged .472, second-highest on the team behind only fellow freshman Andrew Vaughn.
- Had multiple hits in 13 games, including four three-hit games.
- Ended the year on a season-high eight-game hitting streak. Was particularly impressive in Cal's final home series, going 6 for 9 with two RBI and four runs scored against No. 7 TCU.
- Drove in multiple runs in a game five times.
- Enjoyed a big day on April 22 against USC, going 3 for 4 with a home run and four RBI.
- Had a strong series at No. 1 Oregon State as he went 4 for 11 with two RBI, a double and a home run.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
- Earned Tri-County Conference Offensive League MVP, Team MVP, Team Offensive MVP and the Blue Max Award (for collecting 25 or more hits in a season) at Yuba City.
- As a senior, helped Yuba City win the TCC by hitting .429 with 42 hits, 28 RBI, 14 doubles and four home runs. As a result, was selected for the Optimist All-Star Game.
- As a junior, helped Yuba City win the CIF-Sac Joaquin Section Division III championship.
- Helped Yuba City to the CIF District Three title in 2014-15 season as a junior with a big two-run homer in the first inning.
- Also played two years of varsity basketball in high school.
- Brother, Chandler pitched at Texas Tech and is a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers organization.
- Selcted to the CBCA North Team in 2015 and participated in a three-game series in Santa Clara against the team from Southern California.
- Would like to pursue professional baseball or military service after college.
- Parents are Shelly and Lincoln Eden. Has one brother, Chandler.
