National Success
• Posted a 23.27 in the 50-meter freestyle in the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials
Maryland Success
• As a freshman in 2007-08, set the school record (19.88) in the 50-yard freestyle at the 2008 ACC Championships
• Part of three relay school records also set at the 2008 ACC Championships: 200-free relay (1:19.91), 400-free relay (2:58.67) and 200-medley relay (1:28.70)
High School Success
• Was a 2006 Iowa State champion in the 50-yard freestyle, 100 backstroke, 200-medley relay and 200-free relay
• Competed at the 2006 Junior National Championships in the 50 and 100 meter freestyle and the 100 backstroke; finished second in the 50 free with a senior national time standard of 23.58 (long-course meters).

Texas, Arizona, Maryland, Florida and Indiana.
Why did you come to Cal?
I came to Cal because I was recruited by coach Durden while he was still at Maryland. I transferred here to stay with him because I always wanted to be trained by him.
What do you think makes Cal different than any other school?
Cal is different because of all the diversity of students here and because they just do things differently then other schools.
