Cal Success• In 2012 had the team's third-best time in the 200 back (1:44.18), placing 11th at the Pac-12 championships
• Also placed 13th in the 500 free (4:25.10) at the 2012 Pac-12 championships
• In 2011 had the team's third-best time in the 200 free (1:37.37), and in 2010 had the team's third-best time in the 500 free (4:30.05), and fourth-best time in the 200 free (1:37.80) and 1,650 free (16:03.97)
National Success
• Was on the winning 800 free relay at the 2008 Speedo Junior National Championships, along with fellow Cal senior Ben Hinshaw
High School Success
• At Mountain View High School was a nine-time High School All-American
• Captured the 2009 CIF Central Coast Section 200 free title in a record 1:37.11

• Parents are Todd and Teresa Trowbridge
• Father, Todd, swam for Cal and was a member of the Bears' 1982 national champion 800 free relay
