Cal Success
• Returning to the Cal men's swimming program after sitting out the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons
• As a sophomore in 2012 swam the second leg of the Bears' 800 free relay, helping set a school record (6:15.70) and finishing as the national runners-up at the NCAA championships
• Swam the third leg of Cal's 800 free relay that placed fifth at the 2011 NCAA championships
• Has the school's sixth-best all-time mark in the 500 free (4:17.51), set in 2012
National Success
• A member of the United States National Youth Team in 2009-10
• For long course meters, has times of 3:56.93 for the 400 free, 2:03.79 for the 200 IM, 2:18.50 for the 200 breast and 2:04.73 for the 200 fly
