Spring 2020: Finished his last college season with a 7-2 doubles record and a 5-7 doubles record…teamed with Thomas Wright to beat Josh Snowdon-Poole and Elliot Arnarp, 6-2, in doubles in Cal’s 4-0 win over Sacramento State…in two seasons at Cal, Zincirli posted career records of 16-14 in singles and 10-9 in doubles…overall, he had a career singles mark of 51-39 and a career doubles record of 35-34 in four college seasons.
Fall 2019: Paired with Thomas Wright to win the B doubles championship of the UCSB Classic, with the duo beating Fresno State’s Johannes Seeman and Daniel Baturyn, 8-5 in the title match…was 3-0 in doubles with Wright and was 2-1 in doubles with Yuta Kikuchi, with Zincirli/Kikuchi reaching the round of 16 in the ITA Northwest Regional Championships after knocking off Oregon’s Emmanuel Coste/Giorgio Soemarno, 8-0, in the round of 32…Zincirli reached the top-flight singles semifinals in the Gauchos’ tournament, after collecting a quarterfinal victory over Cal Poly’s Antoine Noel, 3-6, 7-5, 6-2…he also reached the ITA Northwest Regional Championships singles round of 32…Zincirli posted a 6-2 doubles record and 5-7 singles mark for the first half of the year.
Spring 2019: Finished with a doubles record of 11-7 and a singles mark of 3-7 in his first season as a Golden Bear…with his first dual-match singles win for Cal, Zincirli beat Utah’s Joe Woolley on court six to clinch Cal’s 4-2 win over the Utes in Salt Lake City…paired with Jack Molloy to clinch the doubles point against UC Santa Barbara with a 6-3 win over Joseph Rotheram and Alex Soto on court three…Zincirli partnered with Molloy all spring, and the duo finished 7-6 in doubles.

Fall 2018: Won his first match as a Bear, defeating Santa Clara’s Robert Seby, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2, on Sept. 28 at the Aggie Invitational at UC Davis…also won his first doubles match as a Bear, partnering with Dominic Barretto to beat Santa Clara’s Connor Garrett and Jesus Barajas, 8-6, at the Aggie Invite…Zincirli and Barretto won four straight and ultimately went 4-1 in doubles in the fall…Zincirli was 2-3 in singles in the fall.
Personal/Previous: Majored in data science...competed at the University of San Francisco in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons...as a sophomore, Zincirli had records of 19-11 in singles and 17-9 in doubles...as a freshman, he posted a 16-14 singles record and an 8-16 doubles record for the Dons...his high school - Özel Yeni Yildiz Anadolu Lisesi - took third in the 2013 ISF World Championships... 2012 high school national tennis champion...spent time on Turkey's U12 and U16 national teams...son of Drs. Necati and Nese Zincirli ... born in Adana, Turkey.
