Was a junior college transfer from West Valley College in Saratoga, where he was a 2007-08 All-American Scholar-Athlete
HIGH SCHOOL/NATIONAL TEAM/CLUB SUCCESS:
At Wellington College High School in Wellington, New Zealand was the 2005 and 2006 recipient of the College Blues Award, helping his team to a second place finish at the 2005-06 New Zealand National Championships
Also competed in rugby and is a member of the New Zealand Men's Water Polo National Squad
