AS A JUNIOR (2016):
- Selected in the sixth round of the MLB First Year Player Draft by the Minnesota Twins
- Missed most of his junior season due to a knee injury but returned at the end of the year to make seven appearances and compile a 2.03 ERA in 13.1 innings pitched
- Combined with Daulton Jefferies to fire a one-hit shutout at Washington State in the next to last game of the season and worked four hitless innings of relief to earn the save, striking out four without allowing a base runner
- Finished his three-year Cal career with a 3.51 ERA in 40 appearances

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015):
- Was 3-2 with a 4.21 ERA and had 46 strikeouts in 36.1 innings
- Went a career-best five innings on March 17 at San Francisco
- Struck out six in both of his starts (Feb. 15 vs. Duke and March 17 at San Francisco)

AS A FRESHMAN (2014):
- Was 2-1 with a 3.18 ERA and had 10 strikeouts in 17.1 innings
- Picked up win in relief Feb. 22 at Auburn with two strikeouts in 2.0 innings
- Won start May 19 at San Francisco, yielding one hit in 4.0 innings with three strikeouts

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
- A 6-6 right-hander from Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego
- As a junior was 4-1 with a 1.04 ERA and had 38 strikeouts in 40.1 innings pitched
- Opponents had a .212 batting average against him in 2012
- Undeclared major with an interest in attending law school
