- Named the Pac-12 Player of the Year in his final season as a Golden Bear after hitting .344 with 16 home runs, 51 RBI, 46 runs, 10 doubles and a triple
- Led the Pac-12 in home runs, ranked second in RBI and tied for sixth in batting average

-Led Turlock High School to an outstanding 2013 season (28-3, 15-0 in league) when he hit .383 with two home runs, 28 RBI, 24 walks and only struck out four times in 112 plate appearances
- As a senior, batted .410 with 48 runs scored
- Was a three-time all-conference catcher, was twice named to Perfect Game All-American Underclass Honorable Mention and was a member of the County All-Star Team
