AS A SOPHOMORE (2016):
- Named the Pac-12 Player of the Year in his final season as a Golden Bear after hitting .344 with 16 home runs, 51 RBI, 46 runs, 10 doubles and a triple
- Led the Pac-12 in home runs, ranked second in RBI and tied for sixth in batting average
- Earned second team All-America (ABCA), third team All-America (Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball Newspaper) honors

- Ranked eighth in the Pac-12 in walks (33) and was third in the conference in hit-by-pitch (14)
- Drove in 32 runs, which ranked him third on the team
- Had eight multi-hit games
- Was 12-for-45 (.267) with runners in scoring position
- Went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs, seven RBI, including a grand slam on Feb. 16 at Stanford
- Had an 11-game hit streak to begin his collegiate career from Feb. 13-March 2 (13-for-36, .361, 3 2B, 3 HR's and 13 RBI)

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
-Led Turlock High School to an outstanding 2013 season (28-3, 15-0 in league) when he hit .383 with two home runs, 28 RBI, 24 walks and only struck out four times in 112 plate appearances
- As a senior, batted .410 with 48 runs scored
- Was a three-time all-conference catcher, was twice named to Perfect Game All-American Underclass Honorable Mention and was a member of the County All-Star Team
- As a sophomore hit .358 with only three strikeouts in 81 plate appearances with 18 walks and 16 RBI
