- Was 6-for-13 in Washington series, including 3-5 April 19
- Had inside the park home run March 22 at Cal Poly with three RBI

- Selected a California Region Honorable Mention Rawlings All-American in 2012, and was a Perfect Game USA Honorable Mention All-American in 2010 and 2011
- Was a standout football safety, earning first-team all-league, all-city, all-section and was the 2013 State Final Player of the Game - leading his school to the state title
- Is the younger brother of Cal All-American Andrew Knapp (a 2013 second round selection of the Philadelphia Phillies) and the son of former Bear catcher Mike Knapp
