2019: Earned First-Team All-American honors for the second straight year… Took eighth in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a throw of 19.67m/64-6.50… Captured Cal’s school record in the shot put with his personal best throw of 20.47m/67-2.00… Recorded his PR at the MPSF Championships where he took second place… Won the shot put competition at the UW Invitational... Named to the MPSF All-Academic list… Did not compete in the outdoor season due to injury. 

2018: Named Honorable Mention All-America in both the shot put and discus during outdoor season and first team All-America during the indoor campaign... One of three people to qualify for the NCAA Championship in both the shot put and discus... Qualified for the NCAA Championship by taking fourth in the shot put and sixth in the discus at the NCAA West Prelims... His discus mark of 55.86m (183-3) was a personal best... Took second place in both the shot put and discus at the Pac-12 Championship... Won seven competitions during the outdoor season... Named Pac-12 Field Athlete of the Week on April 3 as he recorded the second-best shot put in school history at the Stanford Invitational with a throw of 19.80m (64-11.5)... Took eighth in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor Championship with a mark of 19.34m (63-5.5)... Set the indoor school record and the indoor freshman record in the shot put at 19.64m (64-5.25) at the UW Invitational.

2017:  Finished fourth in the shot put and seventh in the discus at the Pac-12 Championship... Took 15th in the shot put and 20th in the discus at the NCAA West Prelims while recording a season-best discus throw of 54.16m (177-8)... Won the Cal Opener in both the shot put and the discus as he had a season-best shot put mark of 18.71m (61-4.65)...Recorded a second place finish in both the shot put and the discus at The Big Meet... Placed third in the discus at the Stanford Invitational. 

INTERNATIONAL: Finished third at the Junior Championship with a shot put of 19.85m (65-1.5)... Took sixth in the discus with a mark of 54.20m (177-10). 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Clovis North HS in Fresno...holds school records in the shot put (64-1.75; also district record) and discus (188-10.00) and marks are in Top-10 all-time in California Central Section history...shot put mark was in top-15 nationally at end of senior year (No. 13)...earned All-League, All-Valley and All-State honors as a senior en-route to being named Co-Outstanding Field Athlete of the Year in 2016...named Clovis North Most Outstanding Varsity Athlete last two seasons and Most improved as a sophomore...Principal's Honor Roll recipient throughout scholastic career...spent four years working with student government.

PERSONAL: Majoring in sociology...Parents are Zak and Jennifer...Has one younger brother, Christian, who also competes in track...Father was a decathlete at USC...Hobbies include working out and spending time with friends and family.
