CROSS COUNTRY
2021: Raced in four meets for the Bears… finished the 10k race in 31:33.8 at the NCAA West Region Cross Country Championships… posted a time of 26:07.1 in the 8k race at the Pac-12 Cross Country Championships… took sixth place in the 8k run with a time of 24:48.7 at the USF Invite.

2020-2021: Did not compete.

2019: Competed in six meets during the 2019 campaign… Helped the Bears claim their second consecutive USF Invitational title, finishing eighth in the race with a time of 25:46.6… Notched his second consecutive top-10 finish of the season at the Stump Invitational, taking 7th with a time of 23:25.3… Recorded a personal best 8K time at the Pac-12 Championships with a 50^th-place finish and a time of 24:36.1… Took 65th at the NCAA West Region Championships with a time of 31:13.0… Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll selection.

2018: Competed in four meets for the Bears in his first season... Took 19th with a time of 25:28.7 as he scored for the Bears as and helped them to victory at the USF Invitational... Took 91st at the Joe Piane Invitational with a time of 25:36.0... Claimed 66th place at the Pac-12 Championship with a time of 25:18.50. 

TRACK & FIELD
2022: Competed in six outdoor meets… posted a new personal-record time of 8:17.27 in the 3000m run at the Big Meet… at the Bryan Clay Invitational, set a new personal best in the 5000m run with a time of 14:31.05… raced to a 1500m PR of 3:55.72 at the Cardinal Classic… Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2021: Did not compete… named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2020: Saw indoor action for the Bears in the 3,000-meters at the MPSF Championships, finishing 43rd with a time of 8:31.24.

2019: Competed in one outdoor meet at the Cal Opener where he took 11th in the 1500m event with a time of 4:02.32. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Won three Pacific League Championships in the 1600m and 3200m (2x)... 2017 Nike Cross Country Nationals qualifier... Took second place in the CIF State Cross Country Championship... Earned a silver medal in the CIF Southern Section Cross Country Finals... 1600m state qualifier in 2018... Won the ACE Award in 2017 and 2018 for being an athlete with character and ethics... Glendale New Press Cross Country Runner of the Year in 2016 and 2017... AP Scholar with honor... Scholar-Athlete with the highest GPA on the team... Won the Pacfic League Cross Country Championship.

PERSONAL: Son of Rebecca and Nathan FitzGerald... double majoring in economics and data science... plans to pursue an MBA after graduation... grandmother Patricia (1959) and brother Silas (2019) both attended Cal... hobbies include reading and photography.
