Hale has played in 13 games all off the bench over the last two seasons of his four seasons with the Cal football program from 2013-16 and is listed as one of two players sharing the No. 2 fullback spot along with Justin Norbeck on the 2017 preseason depth chart. • Had 223 yards rushing on 31 carries against Scotts Valley as a senior to earn the San Francisco 49ers High School Player of the Week Award
