High School: Named Most Outstanding Track Athlete for three years at Acalanes High School...school record holder in the 800 meters...qualified for the state track championships three times and the state cross country championships four times...last year in the Junior Olympics, took fourth place in the 4x800-meter race...played one year of varsity soccer and earned the Coach's Award...earned the California Scholarship Federation's Lifetime Award...and won scholar-athlete awards all four years.

Personal: Born May 23, 1989, in Walnut Creek, Calif....parents are Ramsay and Janet Thomas... while competing at the University of Maryland, Ramsay Thomas was the first person in the state of Maryland to break 50 seconds in the 400-meter run...uncle, Brook, was an All-American cross country runner...has two sisters...hopes to become a Division I track and field coach...undeclared major.
