Cal Success:

• Wrapped up his Cal career by earning All-America honors in the 200 breaststroke in 2017.
• Made the "B" final in the 200 breast at the 2017 NCAA Championships and took second in the heat, posting a time of 1:53.73 to score seven team points for the Bears.
• Owned the team's top time in the 200 breast in 2017 with a 1:53.51 at the Pac-12 Championships. Also ranked third in the 100 breast with a time of 52.63 achieved at the NCAA Championships.
• Earned a spot on the 2017 Pac-12 All-Academic second team with a 3.15 GPA in American Studies.
• Qualified for the NCAA Championships in every year of his collegiate career.
• Contributed for the Bears in the breaststroke in 2016 and competed at the NCAA Championships in both the 100 and 200.
• Top finish at the 2016 NCAA Championships came in the 200 breast where he placed 22nd.
• Set the team's third-fastest time in 2016 in the 100 breast at the Georgia Invitational with a 53.60. Had the team's fourth-fastest time in the 200 with a 1:55.34 at the Pac-12 Championships.
• Had the team's third-best time in 2015 in both the 100 breaststroke (53.40) and 200 breast (1:54.89).
• Competed in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke at the 2015 NCAA Championships. 
• Was a member of the Bears 2014 NCAA championship squad.
• Owned the team's second-best time in the 100 breast (53.11) and third-best time in the 200 breast (1:54.97) in 2014.

High School Success:

• A two-time High All-American and the CIF Division I Southern Section Champion in 100 breast during first year on varsity.
• Started swimming sophomore year of high school.
