No. 1 Ranked Cal Women's Water Polo Defeats San Diego State

BERKELEY, CA - The No.1 ranked University of California women's water polo team (16-2) was triumphant in its match versus No. 19 San Diego State Aztecs (6-9) Saturday at Spieker Aquatics Complex.

Cal was led with scoring by senior Brooke Spittler and sophomore Christen Razzari with two goals apiece, senior Colette Glinkowski scored one goal.

San Diego's one goal was scored by Aztec Amber Prestegard. The first period proved to be tough ending in a score of 0-0, after the half the score was 2-0, and after the third period the score was 4-0.

The Bears will next host USC on Friday March 24 at Spieker Aquatics Complex.
