No. 1 Cal Women's Water Polo Defeats No. 7 Hawaii, 10-4

BERKELEY, CA -
The No. 1 ranked Cal women's water polo team defeated No. 7 ranked Hawaii, 10-4, Wednesday at Spieker Aquatics Complex on the Cal campus. The Bears have now won 15 matches in a row and are 19-2 overall and 7-0 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. The Wahines fall to 14-8 and 3-6 in the MPSF.
Cal was led by sophomore Brenna Fleener's three goals and two goals apiece from senior Kaliya Young and sophomore Julie Arnold. Colette Glinkowski, Julia Cesnik and Cristen Razzari also scored for the Bears.
Cal and Hawaii was 2-2 after two periods, but the Bears pulled ahead in the third period by outscoring the Wahines, 5-2. Cal put the match away by outscoring Hawaii, 3-0, in the fourth period for the final 10-4 margin.
The Bears will next travel to UCLA, Mar. 31, and UC Santa Barbara, Apr. 1.
