SAN JOSE, Calif. - Fourth-ranked Cal had six different players score as the Bears routed No. 5 San Jose State, 11-7 on Saturday in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match. With the win, the Bears improve to 9-5, with a 4-1 conference record.

Julie Arnold led Cal in scoring with three goals, while Brenna Fleener, Ericka Lorenz and Julia Cesnik scored two goals apiece.

The teams locked horns in the first period, with the score even at two after the first seven minutes. Cal then reeled off eight goals in the middle two periods to take a commanding 10-5 lead heading into the fourth.

The Bears are back in action on Saturday, March 23 when Cal travels to UC Santa Cruz to take on the Banana Slugs at noon.
