BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Colorado freshman Marcus Hall scored a career high 22 points Saturday to lead the Buffaloes over California 78-60.

Hall was 4-of-6 in 3-pointers and scored 14 points in the first half.

Colorado (4-1) shot 55 percent including 10-of-20 3-pointers. California (2-3) hit only 37 percent.

David Harrison scored 18 points for Colorado and Michel Morandais added 10 points.

California's Amit Tamir led with 21 points followed by Leon Powe with 11 points.

Colorado only trailed in the first few minutes of the game and had a 35-28 lead at half time. The Buffaloes pulled way for good with a 61-40 lead with 10:07 remaining in the game.

Colorado grabbed 42 rebounds and Lamar Harris pulled down 12. Powe had 11 of California's 36 rebounds.

It was the fourteenth consecutive home win for the Buffaloes.
