"When our team dug in defensively, I thought we did a good job. We got frustrated at times and that frustration turned into impatience on offense and led to some bad shots. We turned the ball over and watched Washington run down the court and convert easy baskets."

"I thought we matched up well, but Washington did a good job changing things up late in the game. If we don't have A.J. Diggs tonight, we don't win this game. He gets four big assists, get three steals. And he made things a little easier for (Richard) Midgley to make some big shots for us at the two-guard spot."

"If we play transition defense, I like our chances against anyone in the country. If we don't, I don't like our chances. When we attacked the basket, I think we really got some good shots."
