On the team's first back-to-back wins since last season:
"It was a big win for us. When you play in this league, that's not a given. We've had to work for everything we've gotten this year. Give UCLA credit. They came back. But we made some huge plays down the stretch."

"I thought when we got a lead, we started to relax a bit. We took some quick shots. We just have to consistently play the game. Defensively, we tried to switch things up on them. When they figured out our zone, we went man-to-man. When they figured that out, we went back to the zone. We tried to pressure them full court a couple of times to disguise the defense and eat some time off the clock. We didn't want to give them a lot of room to operate. We had to keep them at bay."

"We talked about the necessity of getting the ball inside. We got the ball inside about 30 times tonight. I thought that was one of the major, major keys that we focused on in the second half. Our goal was to go to the line and I thought we accomplished that today. We earned everyone of them today."

On the play of Leon Powe:
"What more can you say about him? He willed himself and the team to success today. He missed a few free throws, but he's a good foul shooter. I thought he was a little fatigued today."
