Heflin Finishes Fifth at Winter Cup

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Randall Heflin, the lone California Golden Bear to qualify for the Winter Cup final in Las Vegas, Nev., finished fifth in the pommel horse Saturday night, scoring an 8.40. Heflin's highest final average on pommels this year came last week at Haas Pavillion, where he finished with a final score of 8.700 against Stanford and Air Force. Heflin also recorded an 8.550 average at the Pacific Coast Classic two weeks ago.
The Bears travel next to Columbus, Ohio, to face Oklahoma and host Ohio State, this Friday.
