Box Score
Amit Tamir's 24 points were a season high and a personal best for a postseason game. His effort was just two points shy of Cal's Pac-10 Tournament record of 26 points, set by Keith Smith vs. Arizona in 1988. Tamir finished his career with 1,054 points -- good for 27th all-time at Cal.
A.J. Diggs, who had a perfect night from the field (3-3 FG, 1-1 3P, 4-4 FT), set a season high with 11 points, one off his career best of 12.
With his 9 rebounds, Leon Powe set Cal's all-time freshman rebounding record. He ended the season with 256, ahead of the 249 grabbed by Bob McKeen in 1951-52.
Cal's 82 points were a team Pac-10 Tournament record, breaking the mark of 78 against Arizona in 2002.
Dominic McGuire and David Paris did not suit up for the game, each serving a one-game suspension for violation of a team rule. Had Cal advanced, they would have been reinstated for Friday's game.
