The fourth-ranked USC men's tennis team defeated California, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon at Marks Tennis Stadium. The Golden Bears move to 6-12 on the season, while the Trojans improved to 16-2.

The Bears dropped two of three doubles matches and were swept in singles competition. Wayne Wong lost the only battle of two ranked singles oppoents, falling to Adriano Biasella 6-3, 6-2. But No. 12 Balazs Veress and Patrick Briaud picked up a huge victory against the No. 9 team in the country, downing Daniel Langre and Drew Hoskins, 8-3.
