UCLA captured its first tournament championship since the inaugural Pac-10 Tournament in 1987 ... The Bruins are the fifth different team to win the tournament since the conference reinstated the event in 2002.

Although no team had held consecutive opponents to under 60 points before this year's tournament, UCLA held all three opponents under 60: Oregon State (47), Arizona (59), California (52).
California's Leon Powe scored 17 points in the championship game and finished the tournament with 80 points, the second-highest total in Pac-10 Tournament history. Only Reggie Miller's 83 points in the 1987 tourney surpassed Powe's total ... Powe also set his school's season free throw and free throw attempts records with 189 makes and 261 attempts ... His 29 conversions and 39 attempts in this season's Pac-10 Tournament set tournament records ... He also finished with 34 rebounds in the tournament, the second most in tournament history behind Washington's Phil Zevenbergen, who had 37 in 1987 ... His 20 rebounds in Cal's quarterfinal victory over USC was also a Pac-10 Tournament game record.

Yesterday, the Golden Bears went on a 19-3 run to tie the Ducks at 35 in the second half of their double overtime victory ... The championship game attendance of 18,544 was the third most in Pac-10 Tournament history ... The attendance numbers for the tournament were 7,936 (Wednesday), 15,144 (Thursday Session 1), 15,321 (Thursday Session 2), 17,856 (Friday), and 18,544 (Saturday) ... The total tournament attendance of 74,821 was the largest in Pac-10 Tournament history, surpassing the previous high of 67,819, set in 2002.
