In a rematch of last year's double overtime classic, Oregon built a 44-23 halftime lead on its way to a 81-63 victory ... The 21-point lead was the Ducks' biggest halftime advantage of the season and the 21-point deficit was the Golden Bears' largest of the season, as well ... The Ducks had enjoyed 17-point halftime leads in two games this year, and Cal had been down 18 (33-51) at Arizona.

California started the second half with a 19-5 run to close the gap to seven ... The Golden Bears had earlier enjoyed runs of 34-2 against Oregon State Wednesday in the first round and 25-5 yesterday in their upset of first seed UCLA .. The Golden Bears trimmed the lead to six at 59-53, but Oregon finished the game on a 22-10 run.

The Ducks are the only team remaining in the field to have won a Pacific Life Pac-10 Tournament championship, which they won in 2003 ... The Ducks also triumphed in two or more games in the conference tournament in three of their last four appearances ... The only other team to have accomplished that feat is Arizona, when the Wildcats won four consecutive conference tournament championships 1988-1990 and 2002.

It's the third time that a #4 seed has reached the tournament final ... The previous two teams both lost: UCLA in 1990 and USC in 2002.

Oregon enjoyed their best shooting day of the season at .6xx ... The Ducks had previously shot .597 (37-for-62) Dec. 15 against Eastern Washington.

The Ducks' shooting was spearheaded by their duo from Detroit, Mich.'s Renaissance High School ... Freshman TaJuan Porter and junior Malik Hairston combined for 46 points on 18-of-25 (.720) shooting with six treys ... Porter's six 3-pointers were one off the Pac-10 Tournament record ... Porter has 11 threes in two games in this tournament and needs three tomorrow to tie teammate Chamberlain Oguchi's record 14, set last year.

California freshman Ryan Anderson notched his eighth double-double of the season and his second in three games at the Pacific Life Pac-10 Tournament with 17 points and 10 rebounds against the Ducks ... His 35 rebounds in the tournament are the second-best tournament output in history, behind only Phil Zevenbergen of Washington, who pulled down 37 in 1987.

California is 2-13 this season when giving up at least 71 points ...

California's senior Alex Pribble started his eighth game, and his two points were the first he has scored as a starter this season. ... He had scored 19 points in the 21 games he did not start.

Ryan Anderson finished the game with 539 points and 269 rebounds in 33 games this season. Both figures rank 14th on Cal's all-time season list.
