SEATTLE, Wash. - With today's win, Cal increased its winning streak to nine games, the longest since the 1959-60 season when the Bears won 19 in a row. The 15-2 start is also Cal's best start since the 1959-60 team went 28-1.

The triple-overtime victory was the longest game in Cal history since a Cal-Oregon contest went five overtimes back in 1977.

The 4-0 start to the Pac-10 season is Cal's best since 2002-03 when the Bears won their first seven conference games in a row.

Patrick Christopher once again led the way for Cal, posting a career-best 27 points and tying his career best in rebounds with 11. Christopher earned Cal's fourth-double of the campaign. He has now tallied four consecutive 20-point performances, and has been Cal's leading scorer in three of those four contests.

After a sluggish start to Saturday's contest, Jerome Randle finished with 23 points, his ninth 20-point game this season. Although Randle only hit one three-pointer against Washington, that trey tied the game at the end of regulation, sending it into overtime.

Theo Robertson's free throw with 15 seconds left in the third overtime not only proved to be the gamewinner, but it also marked the second time in the game in which the Bears led. The first time was when Cal scored the first point of the game.

Former Cal basketball players Roy Fisher ('91), Jim Beatie ('88), Bill Elleby ('92), George Sterling ('58) and Stevie Johnson ('93) were all in attendance at tonight's game.
