Recap |  Final Stats

STANFORD - With today's loss, Cal had its nine-game winning streak (four in the Pac-10) snapped, the longest since the 1959-60 season when the Bears won 19 in a row.

Jamal Boykin had a career night against Stanford, posting a personal-best and team-high 22 points, going 10-for-13 from the field. Boykin also added seven rebounds. It was his first 20-point outing of the season, and the team's 16th.

There wasn't a single free-throw attempt by either team in the first half, and Boykin was the only Bear to shoot any free throws for Cal, going 2-for-3 from the line.

Finishing the contest shooting at 55.2 percent, Cal has now shot at least 50.0 percent in six of its last eight games.

The Bears, who entered Saturday's game as the nation's best three-point shooting team at 48.3 percent, only connected on five of 15 attempts from behind the arc. However, Theo Robertson, who also currently leads the nation in three-point shooting, swished three of his six attempts from the three-point line. Robertson finished with 17 points.
