Rowell Finishes Second on Platform at Stanford

Stanford Diving Invitational Platform Results 
STANFORD, Calif. -
California's Kahley Rowell continued a Golden Bear trend at the Stanford Diving Invitational when the sophomore placed second in the platform final Sunday. The sophomore posted an NCAA regional-qualifying score of 250.45 in the last women's event of the three-day co-ed meet at the Avery Aquatic Center.
Cal seniors Alissa Barker (218.60) and Molly Hayes (211.00) placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in the platform final.
Today marked Hayes' third top-five finish at the Cardinal's meet. She posted NCAA regional-qualifying scores when she took second on the three-meter springboard (307.85) on Jan. 13 and second on the one-meter board (268.90) on Jan. 14.
The Cal divers and swimmers return to action when they host No. 5 Arizona at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, in a Pac-12 dual meet at Spieker Aquatics Complex. The second-ranked Bears (3-0, 3-0 in the Pac-12) then host No. 24 Arizona State at noon on Saturday, Jan. 21, in their last home meet of the season.
Prior to the ASU meet - the last home meet for eight senior Bears - Cal will honor its student-athletes as part of Senior Day.
