  • With tonight's win, Cal has won at least 22 games in three of the last four years – 22 this year, 24 in 2010 and 22 in 2009. It is the first time in school history the Bears have won at least 22 games three times in four years.
  • Cal's win tonight means the Bears are 17-1 at home, matching their most wins in Haas Pavilion (also 17-1 in 2002-03). In its history, Cal won more home games only one other time – the Bears were 24-2 during the 1945-46 season.
  • Oregon State shot 38.5 percent from the floor to become the 16th Cal opponent to shoot under 40 percent, this year. The Beavers were 31.4-percent from the field, in the second half.
  • Senior G Jorge Gutierrez scored 17 points to move into 26th place on Cal's all-time list, now with 1,169 career points.
  • Senior F Harper Kamp scored 13 points to move into a tie for 36th place on Cal's all-time list with Bill Hagler, now with 1,042 career points.
  • Cal trailed, 34-32, at the half; the third time, this season, the Bears were behind at the break, at home. Stanford led, 33-32, on Jan. 29 before Cal prevailed, 69-59, and Arizona was up, 45-34, on Feb. 2 before winning, 78-74.
  • Cal held Oregon State without a point for the first 5:56 of the game before Angus Brandt scored with 14:04 on the clock, by which time the Bears had built a 10-0 lead.
  • With starts in tonight's game, senior Harper Kamp moved into fourth place on Cal's all-time games-played list with 127, while senior Jorge Gutierrez is eighth in games played with 123.
  • Sophomore G Allen Crabbe made three three-pointers to give him an even 70 on the season to move him into third on Cal's single-season list, behind only two years by Jerome Randle – 92 in 2010 and 82 and 2009.
  • Freshman F David Kravish scored a career-high 17 points. His previous best was 13 set on Thursday (Feb. 16) against Oregon, and earlier this year against UCLA at home (Dec. 31).
  • Sophomore G Justin Cobbs posted his second career double-double. He finished with 10 points and a career-high 13 assists. He had 14 points and 11 assists against Utah on Jan. 14.
