Hayes Takes 11th on 1M at NCAA Zone Es

NCAA Zone E One-Meter Preliminary and Final Results 
USAFA, Colo. -
California senior Molly Hayes posted a score of 520.20 to take 11th place in the final of the one-meter springboard Thursday at the NCAA Zone E Diving Qualifying Meet at Air Force's Cadet Natatorium.
USC's Tori Ishimatsu (626.80) won the event on the first day of the qualifying meet for the NCAA Championships. Eight divers will qualify for nationals out of the Zone E meet.
Hayes notched a score of 250.40 in the preliminary round to just qualify for the final as the 18th-place diver; only the top 18 reached the final.
Cal sophomore Kahley Rowell placed 28th in the prelim with a score of 243.50 and junior Kelsey Heiken scored 196.95 to take 44th in the prelim.
The three-day zonal meet continues Friday with the three-meter springboard.
