BERKELEY - The California women's gymnastics team scored a season-high 49.025 on the vault en route to a score of 193.050 against No. 15 Boise State's 195.875 in a dual meet inside Taco Bell Arena Friday evening to complete its four-meet road stretch.

"I am so proud of our team tonight," said Cal head coach Danna Durante. "We had several season and career highs. We are working hard to enjoy this process of improvement. We have made incredible strides so far this year and we will continue to work hard and get better the next few weeks."

Sophomore Dallas Crawford led Cal on the vault with a career-high score of 9.875 to tie for second overall in the meet, while junior Madisyn O'Brien was right behind in fourth place with a career-best score of 9.850. Freshman Crystal Paz posted a career-best score of 9.825 to place fifth, while junior Chelsea Spomer recorded a career-high score of 9.800 to finish seventh. Boise State's Ciera Perkins took top honors in the event with a score of 9.900 to edge out Crawford.

The Bears (4-10) scored a 48.650 on the uneven bars, led by junior Stina Olivere, who registered a 9.825 to tie for second overall. Boise State's Lindsay Kazandjian edged out Olivere for the bars title with a score of 9.850.

Paz led the Bears on the balance beam with a career-high tying 9.800 to place fifth overall as Cal recorded a 47.875 in the event. O'Brien tied for sixth place with a 9.77 and sophomore Alicia Asturias placed ninth with a score of 9.675. Perkins of Boise State (8-4) captured the beam title with a 9.900 in the event,

Senior Alexandra Leggitt scored a 9.800 to pace Cal in the floor exercise and place third overall. Spomer was right behind her teammate with a score of 9.750 to place fourth in the event. Asturias scored a 9.700 to finish sixth overall in the event. Perkins also took home the floor exercise crown with a mark of 9.875.

O'Brien, who hadn't competed in the all-around since the third meet of the season, scored a 38.225 to place third. Boise State's Potvin-Green scored a 39.275 to take home the all-around title.

Cal returns to Haas Pavilion for its final home meet of the season next Sunday, March 18 against Washington at 2 p.m.
