NCAA Individual Championship - Glen Ishino (Pommel Horse)
All-Americans - Glen Ishino (Pommel Horse, High Bar); Steven Lacombe (Still Rings, Vault); Dennis Mannhart (Parallel Bars, High Bar)

NORMAN, Okla. - Glen Ishino capped off his senior year with an NCAA individual championship on the pommel horse. Ishino scored a 15.600 to finish first on the event, well ahead of second-place finisher Craig Hernandez (15.350) of Penn State.

"Glen was phenomenal tonight," Cal head coach Tim McNeill said. "He didn't add any extra skills or do anything better than he does every single day in practice, and he still won the event by a large margin. Tonight, he really showed what an incredible athlete and competitor he is. Anyone who watched the meet tonight could tell he was the best gymnast on pommel horse."

Three Golden Bears earned six All-America honors with Ishino on pommel and high bar, Steven Lacombe on rings and vault and Dennis Mannhart on parallel bars and high bar.

Steven Lacombe finished fourth on still rings, notching a 14.950 to earn All-America status. Lacombe also notched All-America honors on vault, on which he tied for fifth with a 15.100.

Dennis Mannhart took seventh on parallel bars, scoring a 14.500 to become an All-American on the event. Also competing on parallel bars was first-year letterwinner Jonathan Liu, who finished 10th with a 13.800.

Ishino took second on high bar with a 15.050, while Mannhart scored a 14.850 on high bar to tally his second All-America honor of the evening.

After an impressive fourth-place finish on Friday evening's team NCAA championships, the 2012 campaign for the Bears is now complete.
