• With the 75-69 loss at UCLA, Cal moves to 8-5 overall this season and 0-1 in the Pac-12

• The defeat snapped a three-game winning streak for Cal in the series with the Bruins.

• UCLA now holds a 133-100 advantage in the all-time series

• Cal is now 3-2 in Pac-12 openers under head coach Mike Montgomery. Both conference-opening losses have come on the road. The Bears dropped an 82-68 decision at Stanford on Jan. 2, 2011.

• With 21 points vs. UCLA, junior Allen Crabbe posted his third-straight 20-point game. It was his eighth of the season and 21st of his career. Crabbe leads the Pac-12 in scoring at 20.9 points per game.

• Crabbe moved past John Coughran (1,183 points from 1971-73), Ayinde Ubaka (1,194 points from 2004-07) and into 22nd place on Cal's all-time scoring list with his total against UCLA. The junior now has 1,202 career points in 78 career games.

• With 11 points and 10 rebounds, junior Richard Solomon recorded his second career double-double. His first double-double came against Hartford during his freshman season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

• After out-rebounding UCLA, 45-37, Cal has now out-rebounded 11 of its 13 opponents this season, including its last five opponents. The Bears have recorded 40 or more rebounds in nine contests.
