High School: Came in third at the 2007 cross country state meet...ran at the USATF Cross Country Nationals earlier this year in San Diego...all-league from 2005-07 at Ponderosa High School...Sierra Valley Conference League champion in 2007...first-team All-Nor Cal in 2006 and 2007...first-team all-state in 2007...first-team all-metro in 2006 and 2007...high school's cross country MVP from 2005-07, and track MVP in 2006...high school team placed third at the California State Championships in 2007...personal bests include: 17:55 in the 5K and 17:36 in the three mile...school record holder in the 1500 and the 1600...earned numerous scholarships and academic awards, including the AP Scholar Award.
